To replace Bruce Arena four years ago, U.S. Soccer should have gotten Juergen Klinsmann, former coach and player for the German national team. Instead, they settled for Bob Bradley.
Now, they get a chance to fix that mistake. Klinsmann was a great player, a great coach and he is more American than I am, so he will have no problem at all showing an American team how to play world-caliber football. Losing to Mexico in the Gold Cup seems to have been the last straw but, really, he was over matched all along.

They listened. Who knew they read my blog??
